This article will cover the following:
Report Types Available

How to Run a Report
1
From the main navigation menu, click Reports and select the report type you want to run.
2
Set your date range using the date picker. You can also use preset ranges like "Last 7 Days," "This Month," or "Last Month."
3
Apply filters to narrow your results — offer, affiliate, advertiser, geo/country, status, and sub ID are the most common options.
4
Choose how to group your data — by date, offer, affiliate, or country depending on the report.
5
Click any column header to sort results. Click again to reverse the sort order.
6
Click Run Report. Results load in the table below your filter options.
Caution:
Very wide date ranges combined with no filters can return a large volume of data and may time out. If your report doesn't load, narrow the date range or add at least one filter.

Key Columns Explained
| Column | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Clicks | Total times a tracking link was clicked during the selected period. |
| Conversions | Number of completed actions (sales, leads, sign-ups) recorded in your date range. May include all statuses unless filtered. |
| EPC (Earnings Per Click) | Average earnings for every click sent. Calculated as total payout ÷ total clicks. Useful for comparing offer value across traffic sources. |
| Revenue | Total amount billed to the advertiser for approved conversions — gross income before affiliate payouts are subtracted. |
| Payout | Total amount owed to affiliates for their approved conversions. This is what appears on affiliate invoices. |
| Margin | Difference between revenue and payout. Represents the network's profit. Visible primarily to account managers. |
Tip:
If you see a dash (—) in a column instead of a number, that metric doesn't apply to the row — for example, EPC won't calculate if there are zero clicks recorded.

How to Export Data
1
Run your report first. Make sure your filters and groupings are set and results are visible in the table.
2
Click the Export or Download button near the top or bottom of the results table.
3
Choose your format. CAKE typically exports to CSV, which opens directly in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet tool.
4
The file downloads to your device automatically.
Caution:
Exported data reflects what's shown in your report at the time of export. If you export before the report fully loads, your file may be incomplete. Always wait for results to finish loading before downloading.

Scheduled Reports
If you regularly pull the same report, you can set it up to run automatically on a schedule. See Schedules & Automated Reports in CAKE for the full setup guide.
1
Build and run your report with the filters you want to save.
2
Click the Schedule or Create Schedule button near the top-right of the report page.
3
Set the frequency (daily, weekly, or monthly), add email recipients, and name the schedule.
4
Click Save. The schedule runs automatically at the next interval.
